My dad used to say "Apple pie without cheese is like a kiss without a squeeze!" He just meant a little cheddar on top or along side, but this would tickle his fancy (and mine) I'm sure.

I will absolutely use this as an excuse to eat pie for dinner! What a good combo of flavors...I know people use cheddar with apple pies, but I've never had a slice. Must add a nice touch.
I had to seriously think about what my favorite pie might be, because I don't eat it that often, but I think I'd have to say apple. Or maybe banana creme. Now I want pie...
